The Hunger Games comes out this weekend! I read the series a couple of years ago, so it’s not as fresh in my mind as it could be, but because the story was so impacting, I remember the most important parts. The story is about a girl who sacrifices herself, over her sister, for the annual Hunger Games. Two tributes from each of the twelve districts must fight and only one person can win. The actual writing is not amazing but the story line is so creative and action packed that you fly through the books. Jackson has another soccer tournament in New Hampshire this weekend, so we are planning on going with the team to the movie after their games. We’re hoping that, although it is only the second night premiere, the movie will not be as popular in New Hampshire! My family also has a, read the book before you watch the movie, policy, so Jackson is racing to finish by Saturday. The team is all eleven year old boys, but hopefully the theater will still stay quiet. I hate loud movie theaters! I also hope that the movie isn’t a disappointment; sometimes I get my hopes up after reading the book and then the movie is so off.
